Yes, compared to recent 480 deal's it's expensive, but if you need something silent (fan doesn't spin until it hits 60 degrees, uses just 3w(!) On blue ray playback), needs to fit in a low profile case and kick out as little heat as possible but you still want to play latest games at 1080 in medium/high settings then this is a decent upgrade for those still rocking a lp 750ti like me.

heat added, though not to everyone's specifications these do have their niche place in the market amongst sff builders. great price if low profile is a requirement.

Shame its not single slot, but you can't have everything I guess X) Niche market like has been said, but you can run some pretty beastly small builds these days because of it!

Would it work in a HP 8200 Sff?

Thank you

Only way of knowing for sure is looking at the rear and/or opening the case up. There looks like there are 2 rear slots but it depends on the position of the pcie slot. The fan will cover the slot next to it, so if it takes up the far right slot you're outta luck. Height and length wise you'll be fine.

Heat given, I mentioned this in another 1050ti post the other day but didn't list as I knew it would go cold.

For small media centers with 1080p, it would make a great sofa gaming box. I was going to get it to replace my 750 ti but can't justify the spend without the means

Seriously tempted by this. Still rocking a passively cooled 6670 in my HTPC but feel it is time to retire it. I had been considering the Palit GTX 1050 Ti KalmX, but it doesn't seem to be available yet.

It is expensive compared to the old 750ti. I have a kfa 750ti OC that was £110 from overclockers about 2 weeks after release, I'd been hoping the 1050ti would be a similar price, but AMD dropped the ball with the 460 and their performance per watt is shocking, guess they blew the R&D budget on ryzen.

Welcome to brexit

Actually the 460 is pretty comparable to the 1050/1050ti in terms of power consumption:

Although they're all hellishly power hungry at the moment anyway so it seems a bit silly to pick one because it's marginally more efficient.

I said "performance per watt". AMD a generation behind on all cards in that respect.

Its also near 160 euros in germany, which just so happens to be around same price as this, so your argument re brexit falls flat.
