It's a nice laptop with a decent CPU but the gpu will struggle with modern games played at anything other than low settings and for some that may not even be possible for 1080p.

Calling this a gaming laptop is a bit of a stretch.

It's definitely a gaming laptop as its got a GTX card in it. It's like saying a Desktop with a GTX 680 card in it is not for gaming. It clearly is if you keep things toned down.

There's much better gaming laptops to be had on ebay though for the price.

Yes but the problem is that for those who don't understand these things, they might buy it for their kids who then throws a strop when they could have got a PS4 for less than half the price with comparable or better graphics and a lot more games.

You could also get a decent i5 skylake CPU with Intel iris pro 580 since according to the notebook check, they are in the same class.
