This is a good price for anyone who wants basic computing... considering some netbooks come in at this price

Exactly why i posted. This will probably get colder than liquid nitrogen though.

Most of them are just opened box, i have bought a laptop and a netbook of them, both arrived next day in brand new condition.

Even my netbook (refurb for £125) is dual core. Not all netbooks are slow, definately not when over £200.

If you want a 15.6", better go for the Toshiba dual core for £246 with code.

Wee bit naughty in the description matey in raising expectations. I share your enthusiasm for the excellent value ebay refurbs sometimes represent but you are not in any position to define what the phrase 'often brand new' means in this instance. When argos clearance sell items that are new, they specifically state that fact. If it states refurb then expect it to be as per the description and you wont be disappointed. Not voted either way.
