Is that an Eee PC I spy... What a shame that the Eee couldn't have bluetooth intergrated. Doesn't look like it would take up much space or add much cost!

Some BIG Piccys

Little Bluetooth adapter. HUGE photo :)

This is really useful though, nothing I hate more than chunky adapters.

Compatible with PS3?

Would not buy this without knowing where the drivers came from. If they are by Blue Soleil they can keep it. I would rather go for the mini-dongle from Play, which AFAIK has drivers from a more reputatble maufacturer.

WARNING: Trying to install or operate a Bluetooth dongle with duff drivers may be hazardous to your sanity.

It's far bigger than some that have been posted recently, so it is still likely to be a nuisance if you pack your laptop away with it still connected, which is the whole point of a small bluetooth dongle! :-(

From my view, the item: sku 11866 on the (same) Dealextreme site is cheaper and appears less protruding than this one, although it might be wider and a problem if sockets are closely spaced.

As for Drivers, you must be thinking about the older (and non-Vista compatible) v2 ones. The Bluesoleil v5 drivers are superb, and are far easier than the Widdcomm to use, certainly so on XP. I don't use Vista other than on other people's machines!
