Just received my Samsung notebook from the Argos Ebay Outlet and have stumbled across this deal on the argos website proper.
It seems excellent to me but please go easy on me if I'm missing the catch:)

Anyone know where you cheaply upgrade the RAM and buy an external DVD RW?

I have one (but the Plus model with the bigger battery) and haven't needed any more memory. However I am not a gamer.

Worth installing this or the touchpad may drive you mad

No stock anywhere I have looked, wish Argos would just list where they do have stock

Or just set to "disable touchpad when usb mouse is plugged in" through Control Panel > System > Mouse > Prperties.

Yeah, the catch is "never any stock anywhere". Good advertising though will work eventually against Argos because people get frustrated (DSG follow the same strategy).

Unless I have misunderstood then I think you have missed the point. The above fix is for when you haven't got a mouse plugged in. It disables the mousepad when you start typing otherwise your thumbs can cause the cursor to move when you are typing.

In that case press FN + F3 keys and switch off the mouse pad. How is your program different?
Edit: OK just read the blurb. Your program only switches off the tap function and leaves the rest intact. Interesting. I just switch mine off.
