Still a fair bit better than an atom according to this even the newer ones. This is the right sort of size for me as well. I find the smaller netbooks too restrictive, especially the ones with smaller keys and a 15" laptop is just not protable enough for my liking, this is a good compromise for office tasks and web browsing.

Can't afford it though

Wow so many of them around! So which out of this and the following is better (especially in terms of performance - responsiveness, speed and multitasking?)
]

The ASUS is a 13" notebook and the other two are 12", so slightly smaller. The ASUS has the best battery life and similar performance to the Hannspree. I'd pick the ASUS over the other two as it has the the best pedigree.

But the Asus is practically i3 price. Unless you absolutely do NOT want a full size laptop, I'm not sure why you'd spend the extra £100 or so, instead of the Hannspree or this.

Thanks all. Would all 3 be fine in watching movies and using HDMI to watch stuff on TV?
