how good is the battery life ?

they estimate around 7 hours but i would imagine that it would be 3-4 if you were watching movies etc. if anyone has one any input would be appreciated

Battery is only 4 cell, won't be that great.

Single core processor, only 2GB RAM, MSI brand...I don't think this is such a good deal.

any recommended alternatives?

seem to be good alternatives for not a ridiculous amount more
from a review of very similar model http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/laptops/1279468/msi-x400 battery life of these 2 alternatives should be alot better with better performance but lower hard drive capacity

I was thinking about getting this, I was looking at 2nd hand Macbook Airs for about £550

the X400 looks brilliant, however, some reviews have noted poor quality build, bad heat dissipation and poor performance even for a ULV

The lenovo posted earlier looks to be slightly better

How do you get the free delivery option?

The website says free delivery on all Laptops with an accessory so added one but delivery stays at £9.95

ah right i see it now, also see it in delivery tab where i missed it last night.
did a trial run of adding laptop and a mouse and after customer details stage delivery shows as 0 even though delivery calculator showed full price
what accessory was it? maybe thats a factor
