Saw Martin Lewis going on about medicine most cheap brands hv exactly the same ingredients as the big brands. So Hot from me nice post Op

these aren't standard 200mg Ibuprofen tablets that retail for about 20p. they're 342mg and have lysine in them, which I think is the ingredient that makes them "rapid". You'll somtimes see them on the shelf labelled for Migraine relief, Period pain releif, or express pain relief. They're usually all priced around the £1.80 mark in most supermarkets. the pack sizes are also usually only about 12.

it makes me laugh when.people go to their gp for paracetamol or ibuprofen to be given on prescription. jeez people!

I may have been rolled over, but I picked up a packet of paracetamol and another of ibuprofen for 19p a piece from Aldi today :D

Unless you are desperate for pain relief, 25p ibuprofen works the same as £4 ibuprofen. It's a shame I had to do a science degree to discover this information a few years ago.
