Expensive price for something so cheap.
I'd like to thank people who use this kind of equipment, it makes your bike look much more attractive to thieves than mine.

another good kind human on this forum...... people show some love, yup its a cheap lock, as a tip i put aside 20% of my bike budget on security both on the road and when it is at home.... this is OK for your cheepo bike but if the bike is your pride and joy i would spend that bit extra..... hugs to you all. 8)

these motorbike chains that had a rating of 5 mins were cut in a few secs

Agreed, but if this lock can't even achieve a SS rating then it must be pretty bad!
A fairly respectable D-Lock used properly through the rear wheel (with a secondary D-lock or cable to prevent your front wheel going missing) will deter opportunist thieves.
There is nothing you can do to stop a determined thief. Even the most expensive chains last only a few seconds (skip to 6:30 in this video) when put up against a pair of bolt cutters.
A chain lock like this one is overkill for deterring opportunist thieves, and will do nothing to stop determined thieves. In other words, lugging the thing round with you is a total waste of time.
I had a D-lock on my bike, I locked it up at the train station, came back later and the bike and lock were nowhere to be seen
The police told me that thieves can remove a D-lock in seconds using a car jack, they just put it inside the lock frame, give it a few turns and it pops the D-lock open
For this reason I would not recommend a D-lock
