***Instore Only***
I have just seen four of these for sale in Tesco New Oscott, staff said they were nationwide price. This is an amazing price for a mountain bike, I know it's not the best quality or the lightest but it's £37, perfect for the summer.
Here's the blurb
The Impel from MuddyFox is the ideal bike for all cyclists, whether you’re getting around town or being a little more adventurous and exploring your local trails. The tyres are designed to cope with both roads and muddy trails, while the 21-speed Shimano gearing and front suspension forks allow you to tackle the steepest hills and take any rough patches in your stride. The MuddyFox Impel bike comes in a stylish red and black design with a alloy hardtail frame keeping weight to a minimum, and features 26” wheels with alloy rims and both front and rear V-brakes. This bike comes in an adult size, inside leg measurement 29"-35", and requires self-assembly.

Price is wrong the are £37.00 reduced from £75 then from £150

Great find. Puts those overpriced rubbishy £60 Sportdirect bikes in the shade.

This is an overpriced rubbish Sportsdirect bike. Muddy Fox is yet another brand name which Fat Mike now owns and applies to the cheapest rubbish he can find. Don't buy.

I'm never quiet right about anything. Now I know this, I predict within 10 yrs everything will be sportsdirect - they seem to have a "winning!" formulae. Hope they get hold of the Rolls Royce brand and apply it to everything from rebadged Tata Nanos to toilet paper.

Just picked one up from Solihull. Called up customer services, they said 2 in stock. Went down there and asked, they checked out the back and came back with one. 18" frame, marked up at £75 but scanned at £37.

Don't think this should be expired.

Anyone been to Kingston Park Tesco's yet? Thinking about popping in on my way home. Hopefully get to use my Mam's staff discount for a further 10% off too :-)

I was going to buy my son a small child's muddyfox/silverox as advertised on sportdirect for £45 until I went to the store and picked one up, the child's bike was heavier than my 21" alloy frame Carerra, i could not believe it. Yes this is cheap but be ready to endure a painful riding experience. is you want a decent bike, buy an alloy frame or a decathlon bike, even their steel frames are incredibly light. Consider buying a second hand one from that auction site as trust me the bike will spend more days in the garage gathering dust than on the road, you can pick up excellent bikes up for half the original cost and most of the bikes were bought by short-term enthusiasts who stored in teh garage for 2 yrs, untouched before selling on. Also try to avoid front suspension on cheap bikes, because on a cheap bike its cheap suspension which is incredibly heavy and you far better without it.

WTF do you trolls expect for £37, I have a diamond back but the gears have gone and to buy a second hand set it costs more than this bike. Great for the money, if you think they are tat don't buy one and don't bother making any comment, not everyone wants a 2 grand bike those are for pros or idiots that cant pass a driving test, see I use a car for other travel and a cheap bike for the shop trips is great or a ride round the park

Surely what people what is educated comment on the quality of the bike, it is cheap for a bike, in all honesty any bike. Not everyone is aware that Muddy Fox isn't a decent make and maybe think its bargain of the century, it is not. Its probably what the bike is worth £37. I've been twice burned by similar bargains over the years.

The bike will not kill you, it'll just have a poor build quality. It'll be heavy and hard to ride, not really an issue in itself, especially if you're looking to lose weight or get fitter, it'll be a plus. What will happen is the pedals will split, because they are plastic, the nuts and caseings holding the pedals in place will thread, making it hard to put a new set on, you'll buy better ones costing as much as the bike cost you.

It'll go in the bin as soon as the gears seize as it won't be worth fixing.

Its the cheap of the cheap, it'll be ok if you wish to tootle around the park with your kids a few times, anything more than that and it isn't fit for purpose.

Nobody is saying you need a 2 grand bike, my bike was £200 in Halfords and I do 17 miles a day commuting and more for fun. This seems to be the standard retort for anyone who disses a cheap bike.

Personally I'm one for leaving comments (moreso than voting) as I feel these give good information for people who might be interested and not sure.

I for one would welcome comments if users genuinely thought they were tat, especially if I was looking to use it for fitness or commuting or actually wanted something half decent.

Comments are exactly that, peope commenting on the deal. They're not just for saying "WOOT BArgain!!!!!!!!"

This bike has an alloy frame, I believe they make different models with different specs.

You should let Argos know as they were selling it for £249.99 a while back.

they advertised it at £249.99, doesn't mean they actually sold any at £249.99

Have just been on wild goose chase as Tesco customer services told me the only place local to me that had stock was Havant who had 2. Drove about 10 miles to be told that they couldn't find them anywhere!! Lesson to be learnt: Make sure they confirm stock before relying on the Tesco's 'system'
