b&m have just got a new range of Cree torches and stuff in, so might be in there cheaper. Seems expensive to me, you can get Cree torches for £2.90 delivered from china. Cant see a head torch costing that much more.
The sos mode also gives it away that it must be made in china with the annoying 3 modes.

Anyhow not voted either way, hope your post helps someone.

that's because you dont know anything about the Alpkit brand. they are a uk company that have great comping stuff all designed in house and they have amazing customer service. ive been after one of their bru kits for camping for months but never got around to getting one. Hot from me :)

I've had cheap ones before and in my experience they are not worth it. Fine if you're only using it occasionally then just buy one for a fiver from Argos.

perfect name you have there. Clearly no idea as to what you are talking about. Chinese tat that says 1000 lumen that outputs 100 lumen and breaks after a few uses. you stick to your tat

I bought a very very good gilet for my wife from alpkit about 10 years and it's still a great piece of kit. (I've bought other stuff since). Heat and ordered from me!

Hmmmm.... torn now as people are saying great UK brand, but the product page says this is "Origin: China" so that mixes it all up!
