Great stocking filler

Michael Caine appears as Ebenezer Scrooge in this riotous musical adaptation of the Dickens tale alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy and all the popular Muppet characters.

I hear only the American USA Region 1 version has the missing song, but in Full Screen and not Widescreen.

From Empire Online

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll leave the room when Caine starts singing. It's the unstoppably funny, utterly charming, delightful, delicious, masterful Muppet Christmas Carol – and if you don't like this film, then we don't like you. Unless there's a really good reason, or you're frightened of felt or something. Bar the singing, Caine is absolutely perfect as Scrooge – terrifying and forbidding enough to make his final transformation so warm and wonderful. And not once does he make any concession to the fact that he's acting against a bunch of puppets. The man is a genius. A legend. A legius.

And the original UK PAL Video release has the song on it - I have it both on video and on DVD (so I can watch the song when I want but for repeated watchings I can watch the DVD)

TOP FILM - simply the best version

This is the version with the song in it

Ordered, heat added.

My wife won't let it be deleted from the Sky+ box from last year! Finally having it on DVD should allow that ;-)
