I can think of at least three things wrong with that title.

Had the mince from Westin Gourmet last month. Great taste. I believe it's the same supplier

I got 10 x 400g last time this was posted - thanks for posting OP.
#5
Ordered another 10 packs and 8 packs of the piri piri thighs that are on offer too :p

You only have to spend £50 to get free delivery (normally £75) as it enables the free delivery before the code discount is applied.

I know. I mean, they just stick it in a brown envelope and shove it in a postbox?

By courier, probably better than buying from a supermarket, where it could be left unchilled for ages, poked and prodded by multiple people, taken around the shop in trolleys and put back, then in to your hot boot for the journey home, left on the side whilst you make a cuppa etc etc

This will be from a chiller, in to cold boxes, to your door overnight, still chilled until it dies in to your fridge or freezer....

You mean the easter week? Where couriers failed to deliver the amount of parcels in the short week, where parcels could have been left for up to 4 days over the easter weekend. You mean that week?
#15
Anyone a regular buyer from this place? Used to use westin gourmet but they never delivered half the stuff and were just so bad at customer service it wasn't worth pursuing. Interested to know what these are like in comparison, especially if the meat comes from the same supplier

I ordered 10kg of chicken breast from them when it was £42. Great service and great chicken.

smart ass- like I said , read through the negative comments. the company blamed it on an office move. many people ordered over £50 of meat for it to go off. only to be snubbed at by customer service

And were they moving office? In which case, that coupled with the easter week, it's no surprise there were some issues.

There shouldn't BE issues. If they were moving office, they shouldn't have been accepting and dispatching orders if there was a chance of delays. Added to that the Easter weekend, the company should have worked this out. I know couriers can be unreliable but the company has to take responsibility here.

I can't get the discount to work anyway. Tried 50quid basket and it said no, 75 quid basket and all its given me is free delivery which I get anyway. Not gonna bother
#22
Ah got it working. My fault as I assumed the discount would work on anything :-\

Well all I can say is that I gave it a go and in fairness the meat was perfect. It arrived in a insulated cardboard box with gel type cooler pouches to keep it all cold and the meat was still very cold when I unpacked it, like you would expect from the fridge.
I would expect if you weren't happy then they would probably refund.
The steak mince seemed to have very little fat at all when we cooked it.

Hot. Been ordering from these guys for a while.

The CS is brilliant. Had 1 bad delivery out of 8 - and sorting it out was easy..

We normally order the chicken - its the best chicken I've ever tasted. Not an ounce of water in it.

However in this case I made the mince order up to postage using the flat iron steaks @ 2 for £5. Had these before and they are nice.
#28
Just ordered 10 x mince, 5kg chicken breasts and 2 thighs for £44 inc delivery.

Just got my order. Arrived 8 hours after dispatch. It's supposed to be fine for up to 72 hours chilled.

4 degrees temperature. All good.

Also the Piri Piri Chicken is boneless. Didn't realise that when I ordered or would've got some more!
Just another bone-us I guess to this offer :p
