  I've always enjoyed Muse, but I'll be giving this album a miss I think. The Olympic song is an embarrassing mess, and I'm not even going to comment on this: Unsustainable.

  Used to love Muse but IMO each album has got progressively worse since Origin of Symettry. Seen them live a couple of time & they were absolutely amazing though. I didn't buy their last album (the first one I haven't bought) but I may pick this one up as its so cheap.

  Muse and The Killers appear to be releasing their albums on the same week 17/09/12. Bit daft of them, when they would both get their time at the top of the album chart if released on seperate weeks. Perhaps they're trying to get a battle on?

  Yup, my favourite band of all time. This will be the 5th time I've seen them! Never managed to catch them at a festival though.

  Thanks OP - preordered.
  Personally I think "Origin of Symmetry" and "Black Holes & Revelations" are their best albums but their last one (Resistance) improved the more you listened - you just have to accept that bands evolve. If they pumped out exactly the same stuff each time we'd be bored of them by now!

  There's a limited edition boxset of somekind but you need to register your interest on their website. I got the resistance limited edition set and that wasn't bad, especially the 5.1 surround DVD of the album.

  Origins and Absolution are my favourite. Pretty sure they hit the ceiling musically with Knights of Cydnoia and Black Holes & Revelations though. Found Resistance a little too prog-rock/pretentious and that Olympic song is really embarrassing. I appreciate bands change their songs but Muse are capable of so much more than - "life's a race, and I'm gonna win"...
  
  HOT anyway, although I haven't got high hopes for this record
