the new complete Mutant Alliance bass pack has everything
you will need to get you up and running…. And most importantly, make a lot of noise!!
The kit contains a 12” subwoofer in a ported enclosure
with a textured finish, a mono block amplifier and a fully
equipped wiring kit.
As well as scoring highly in aesthetics and finish, this kit
will also provide you with more than enough bass to rock
your motor.

12” subwoofer : 350W max power
45oz Magnet
2” Voice coil
Monoblock Amp: 300W max

This seems like a genuine deal. They are good as long as you aren't a boy racer and plan to have your music as loud as a plane taking off.

if he had it booming then no doubt the speakers blew. They're good for the pricerange but obviously if he wanted better quality speakers, he'd have to pay more. But they are probably the best in the price range.

it is a know fact that colour dose make a difference as the light and sound spectrum are all intertwined.
and this is a sub base woofer which should not be heard but felt

bit of a false econonomy though ay? it will sound **** and if you turn it up a bit when a song you like comes on they are likely to turn to melted cheese. spend another £30 on a fusion set and will at least have something decentish if not definately more reliable. i think this is the only set in this price range which is usually for a good reason...

i do see what you're saying, but i don't think it'll sound awful, i know it wont be the best quality, but some people are on a budget (me included) and for the money, it's the best around, i have checked on ebay and everyone who has got it said it was good.

totally agree, will not spend 300 on a sub to fit into 2k car, which I wanna sell withiin 5 months. I will however spend 70 quid and have the pleasure of installing and checking how it sounds on my own.

Buying a top spec alpine and fitting into s-reg astra...that's a false economy man :whistling:

thats basically what im saying summed up.

i mean, personally, i dont plan on selling my car at all, i'll run it til it breaks completely, but just for a little bit of bass and for what i see as just some 'surround sound', it does the job perfectly :)

Mutant stuff isnt too bad, obviously you wont get the quality of JL, phoenix Gold ect but you are also paying less than half the price.
I fitted a similar Mutant system to this about 5 years ago into a Ford Focus, the car was written off ages ago but the ICE is still going strong.

I would recommend to anyone buying this that they fit a better amp wiring kit though as the one supplied is very cheap and nasty and would not be suitable if you wanted to upgrade the system at a later date.

All in all, I think this is a good little package for someone who wants more bass than door speakers/6x9's can provide without being so loud it makes things fall off the car!
