Correct. Freeview HD uses DVB-T2 and unfortunately this is DVB-T1. No mention of any upgrade or flashing.

However, this receiver is really good.

Have updated to remove freeview hd but from what I have read on forums and Maplins website it can definitely receive equivalent freeview hd channels in europe and according to maplins it will should receive freeview HD http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=224786 but I feel you know your stuff more than me.

I am going to order one of these for the World Cup and ITV Freeview not scheduled for me till 2011 More than happy with BBC HD and the PVR function via usb appeals to me

This is grossly over priced for what it is.IMO.

gat a spider box 9000hd much better box and can do a lot more
