A remake of the 1981 classic horror film, My Bloody Valentine stars Jensen Ackles and Jaime King and is directed by Patrick Lussier (The Eye).

Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. But Harry Warden wanted revenge. Exactly one year later, on Valentine's Day, he woke up...and brutally murdered twenty-two people with a pickaxe before being killed.

Ten years later, Tom Hanniger returns to Harmony on Valentine's Day, still haunted by the deaths he caused. Struggling to make amends with his past, he grapples with unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Sarah, who is now married to his best friend, Axel, the town sheriff. But tonight, after years of peace, something from Harmony's dark past has returned. Wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pickaxe, an unstoppable killer is on the loose. And as his footsteps come ever closer, Tom, Sarah and Axel realize in terror that it just might be Harry Warden who's come back to claim them...

I've got Jean Michel Jarre: Oxygene 3D.

On the 42" plasma the effect was too subtle to make it worthwhile, but It came into a league of it's own when I showed it to friends on the projector. I wouldn't say it's a particularly pleasant experience though, it is a strain on the eyes.

If you have the means I recommend trying whilst baked

i actually saw it at the cinema - lulled in by the new technology. Film was horrible, 3D was exciting though.. just made me more impatient for Avatar...

do you have to wear the sunnies to watch it at home? mine are still attached to my pin board in the kitchen

The glasses at the cinema are the polariod type and are far better than the red/green ones used on the DVD.
I think that there are new TV's coming out that will used similar technology to the cinema.

BBC Click and The Gadget Show have been extensively covering the arrival of 3D sets. Think they're due to start selling next year.

Seem to be two different approaches though, so we're destined to have yet another irritating format war. I think the one which uses cheaper polarised glasses like the cinema will reign victorious
