Hi
Just seen this deal on an email, we have one of Thomas Ready Beds (couldn't get my son out of it on his Birthday). The idea is to use it for between his cot and a real bed (not as far to fall) and when we stop over at friends houses we can just set him up somewhere, a great price!, normally £25
Available instore only

I paid more than double that for it from Blooming Marvellous so it's a great price.

As for whether it's a great bed or not - the jury's still out. We've only used it one night and didn't get much sleep as it was far more fun for our son to bounce on. It's worth getting and using once for the laugh though - seeing your two year old bouncing in and out of sight shouting "daddy, look, I'm like tigger" at 3 in the morning is worth £15 of anyone's money.

Good price, we bought 2 for our twins when they were this price in Argos.
Our 2 love the beds, they have used them several times when visiting and sleep very well in them. They also roll up to quite a small size and come with carry bag and foot pump.
I think we would be lost without ours! great buy.

What age range are these suitable for???

Superb price! Unfortunately I purchased a ready bed for my daughter last week from ToysRus for £24.99, typical!

from Argos website (where it's double the price )

# Fully portable inflatable bed with soft cover - ideal for toddlers.
# Air filled mattress.
# Protective side bolsters for added safety.
# Built in soft headboard.
# Machine washable cover.
# Pump and carry bag included.
# Size: (H)135, (W)71, (D)32cm.
# For ages 2 years and over.

so bed is probably about 1m inside - up to 4/5 yrs depending on childs height ?

edit : John Lewis are listing it as 2-10yrs, but I think that's pushing it :giggle:

Thanks for the info :)

I would agree 2 to 5 years max, don't know where they get 10 years from!
Ours are 3 years old and I would expect they will last another couple of years.
There is another bigger version of the bed for over 5's

My girl went straight from cot to real bed at 18 months (with a protector), I can see the attraction for this as it's significantly less than the cost of a bed.

We had a Dora one for our daughter and she used it when we to stay with relatives, saved me worrying about her being up too high in a proper bed. I would say it would do ages 2-4. Def a good buy :)

I think this is only suitable for occasional use though? Like when going to visit relatives etc?

Wouldn't recommend one as an alternative for a bed!

I agree - it's just good for holidays and the odd night out, but deffinately not as a replacement for a real bed.
