Does anyone have any experience of how good or bad this SatNav is?

I wouldnt bother buying this when you can get a tomtom one for £70.49 from PC world pricematched with amazon. with free delivery

Looks like a MyGuide 3100

very mixed reviews of this

either get a TomTom one or if you want a hackable PNA the go for the Nivigo from Ebuyer

Only saving grace for this is that it has full European mapping anf appears to have TMC

Yea, just noticed Tom Tom 1 v3 is down to £70-£75. So that's a better deal/product.

it depends what you want

TomTom one is UK maps only - MyGuide has European Maps

TomTom one has no TMC option MyGuide does

MyGuide is hackable if thats what you want

so horses for courses....

I can say that if this is the 3100, it's a worthy buy.

As has been said, it can be readily hacked to run other GPS software (iGo 2006, iGo 8, Tomtom, + others less worthy). I am using iGo 8 at the moment, very quick and easy to use, plus lots of bells and whistles. You can also download 'skins' so that iGo 8 looks and works like a TomTom.

You can also add video and music playing software to it.

One word of warning. The MyGuide 6.1 software doesn't support TMC in the UK. iGo does (iGo 2006 is what MyGuide is based on, so looks no different). I get great reception on Classic FM with iGo.

All in all, a very capable Sat Nav. :-D

I have used both sat navs and I really think that the myguide is a better product. I think the thing that turned me off of the TomTom One was that you can not add multiple waypoints which is a must for me.
