This a rrp £1 item and available at many other retailers instore & online.

It does NOT keep your children safe on the internet !

It DOES allow you to set rules and block unsuitable web pages.

This is not worth the money in my opnion.

It is far better to educate your children on what is unsuitable, and let them educate you on how to use a computer ;)

I worry for any parent who thinks they can save their children from the dark side for 97p.... lolz

Agreed - as with most things, education (and supervision) is the way forward.

Not even a deal if this were free,

Best solution is to use FREE OpenDyns ( http://www.opendns.com/ ). With a little simple setup this will allow you to block many pages of unsuitable pages (not just for kids either!). Basically, create an account with them then access you router and change the DNS servers to point to: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 rather than your ISP`s one. Blocking web pages (such as gambling, P2P etc) couldn`t be easier (even for the less computer savy person -like me!!). There`s no software to install (other than a teeny weeny application to update your IP address should you be on a dynamic one - majority of domestic users are anyway). The trouble is with software like this in this "deal" is that, although you can block web pages, kids usually find a way round this -easily!!. Using the above solution, unless they have access to your router, they can not access any pages you chose to filter. Give it a go..it's free and there`s no spyware etc involve..Oh yes..no, I don`t work for them - they are a global organistation.
