This device uses windows ce4.2, you would be better to get the widescreen navigo from ebuyer for the same price as this one comes with windows ce5.0, it's more flexible. Having said that if you don't want to add your own software(like Tomtom v7 or igo8) stick with the Myguide as its navigation software is 'iGo myguide' which is much better than the turbodog rubbish on the navigo.

My partner has the earlier Myguide 3100 and it is good in its own right, as you say the iGo software is OK, and is fine anyway. I have however tried to put in TomTom (well documented, and possible some say) but it is not the common version (it was a Halfords one, NOT from eBuyer like most!) and as such will not set up like most versions. Always possible that this model could be the same, so I would only buy it if you are going to be happy with the iGo software.

In any case the eBuyer Navigo HAS to be the best available for the money, as it is by all accounts a doddle to set up with Tomtom
