MyMemory 8GB USB Flash Drive £17.99 @ MyMemory

MyMemory branded USB Flash Drives are going cheap at the moment on MyMemory.co.uk

4GB USB Drive - £10.99
8GB USB Drive - £17.99 (not including P&P)

They also come with a 1 year warranty.

Maybe 6% quidco too, but not sure - please confirm if you can.

There are smaller memory ones on sale too, but they're not as good an offer.

just realised play.com have 4gb at £10.99 with free P&P. d'oh.

This is a great deal for 8gb, wonder what the write speed is on it?
I just bought a corsair voyager 4gb today and it cost me nearly 20 bucks, but Ive had my last 2 pen drives break on me from the keyring and i wanted something a bit more sturdy. The corsair has a 10 year warranty, so i intend to use it!
Voted hot for this deal though, great price but maybe a little flimsy!

Voted cold.

In future list p&p. The point of this forum is the good deal "all in", not to get people hyped on a cheap price only to add p&p afterwards. Leave that to the advertisers...

the 8gb is out of stock, I tried but they will email when in stock

This is a hot deal for 8GB. I bought two X 4GB Sandisk micro cruzer recently so I be able to resist the temptation of this one. If it were to be high speed then this is a red hot solar storm deal and I have to buy immediately even when I have enough GB's!

This is unfairly over-critical. Even when £4 postage it is still at £22 which makes a good deal nevertheless for 8GB as for some people 1 X 8GB is better than 2 X 4 GB. You should judge it on the deal and not punish people for missing postage and beside many people take the opportunity to buy one or more items to share out the postage per item as mymemory.com has some of the best prices so it is quite easy to buy a few more items each time. Morever I find mymemory.com offer far better after sales service than play.com. Given two items nearly the same price between play.com or mymemory.com I would go to mymemory.com. My experience of play.com is that they do abort customer's orders more than mymemory.com.

cheers mate. I'm sitting in my nice cosy new house as we speak. Central heating and no more electric panel heaters!
#11
Excellent I wish you well :)

Never came across that Pikmin 2 then mate ?
I'm sitting on this damn computer when I could be lying on the sofa playing that !!!!

Damn game I've nearly given up hope of getting it at a fair price. I may even have to resort to the infamous ebay, god forbid !
#12
never did get it back from the girl I lent it to... I've got a shed load of games I'm away to sell though, gamecube and Wii mostly. Got myself one of those darn 360s now!

You will find me hiding away on one of the other main deal sites mostly these days, so feel free to stop on by!
#13
Fair enough.
Well if she ever does give it back you know where I am :)

I did pop onto your site a couple of times but is seemed to be uninhabited, thought it might be down to the house move. I will pop in and say hello soon.

Take care :)

There is something called PM to discuss personal issues. Why spoil a thread?

I voted cold as the P&P and not in stock status make this deal not as good as it first seemed. I think the Buffalo 8GB flash from amazon is a comparable, if not better deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/132732/buffalo-ruf-c8g-u2-8gb-usb-2-0-high/

Oooooh... Hand bags!

If you notice there are - at time of me replying - 9 posts made by OP. Fair then to say a relatively new comer to the forums like yourself. If you want to vote coldi by all means do but as you can see, more think it's hot... As do I.

Personally I think P&P should bein a little box beneath the unit price. Like it's been pointed out a lot of people may be after a few of these so listing it as £22 would be even more misleading to someone ordering 10...

10 times 22 is £220
10 times 18 is £180 + £4 post... £184:whistling:

Do you see my point?!?

thanks and good point. a lot of people don't appreciate that i didn't include the p&p, but i did actually mention that is wasn't included so it isn't THAT misleading. I will try to do it from now on though.

Good point and I somewhat agree. I always try and put the delivery charge in the title and again in the thread.
It is however misleading if it's not mentioned at all.

And you are also quite correct, so humble apologies to the OP.
In mitigation it was 3:00am in the morning which is probably not HUKD's busiest time, there was a legitimate reason for posting in the first place and to be honest it wasn't really spoiling the thread was it ?
It also kept spudgun's thread to the front.

Anyway Spudgun you are welcome to come say a friendly hello in any of my threads but in the meantime once again apologies :)
Octpopus, you can just plain stay away until you're a happier litlle Cephalopod, OK ! :p:)

Out of stock :-(

For all those who vote this cold because it's out of stock, give it some thought first as it probably wasn't until it was posted on here!

Could some one who owns this 8GB report on it write speed please? Test it with copying a video file from your PC to the flash stick.
