Are you sure it was the Evo version? Hard to believe they'd sell them for so cheap!

If this isn't the cheapest around (£74.85 if purchased directly from Brooks), then I'd be happy to be proven wrong (mainly because I'll be ordering one within the next few days). It only appears

I'd just like to add that I purchased the saddle late on Wednesday, and it turned up today (Friday)!

Great service from a company that I'd never used before - faster than Wiggle!
Hmmm.

I'm really tempted by the Apple Green saddle. Please tell me that I don't need it, and that the cheaper black saddle would look more 'dignified' on my bike.

I can buy a whole bike for 50 quid!

Can you provide a link to proof that this has actually happened in practice?

I wear a helmet for more than one reason. Reason number 2 is if some idiot knocks you off your bike and you sustain head injury, your legal claim will be reduced by up to 20%- and your family then gets a lot less money to look after you with and less loss of earnings etc.
Top quality helmet at a decent price. Hot.

Is that surprising? You say you wear a cheap helmet then state immediately that 'the evidence that cycle helmets do any good is pretty much nil and there is even evidence that they are counterproductive to safety.' So what are we to make of that?
That there are shades of grey to every debate, and I'm fending off facile arguments about being a bicycle helmet hater. I agree that I could have been a bit clearer though on that point, so sorry about that. What I was trying to say is that the interesting thing about wearing cycle helmets is that they don't just offer supposed benefits to safety: there are interesting arguments that helmet use can cause behaviour by the wearer, and those around them who could cause them harm, that is unsafe. Overall I believe that at least in my case it's just about worth wearing one. I could be wrong though - it really is that subtle.

Unfortunately, anything more subtle than a completely polarised argument does seem to be beyond a lot of people's comprehension.

You only go on to explain what you mean later, so it's hardly surprising that some jump to conclusions.
You agree about the misquoting then, and it's only the misunderstandings you are defending?

And this site is called Hot UK Deals, which you state don't exist, so why do you visit?
Erm, no! Looks like you're misquoting me too!

Seems to be a lot of misunderstanding and misquoting of my posts going on here.
