I had one of these, it was a bit fussy with formatting the micro sd , it insisted on FAT32 which was odd. But once set up worked just as well as other cards I have used R4 etc

No need to post a direct link separetely anymore badmanmeow, as if you press "go to deal", it takes you to the actual deal page.

the same site has the m3ds real listed at $32. from the reviews this card is cheap for a reason. i own the m3ds real myself and can tell that's a good card which may be more expensive but wont blow the fuse on your ds.

I won't buy from these guys as you don't know when you are going to get your stuff and I've never had a full order sent.

I've just had 4 separate orders sent with no problems, must be luck of the draw? :?

Watch out with these N5 cards as I had bought 5 altogether and four of them kept wiping all the games off the SD card. It seems to be that if you don't save the game properly then this will wipe off your games (so I read). . I then had to reformat it and put the games on again. When kids are playing them you cannot be sure they will save them every time. I also read on the deal extreme site that they may also blow fuses? With this I sent them all back and still waiting for refund. They have received them but no refund, loads of emails though.
Never had a problem before this though. Just beware they are cheap for a reason.

I thought i'd read somewhere (don't know where now. sorry) that people had their Ds's knackered by these so I'm not touching these.

Stay away from these cards, i recently ordered 5 and had to return the full batch as they were faulty.....In my experience it pays to cough up an extra couple of quid for the better cards, i suggest edge and supercard one.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE. The N5 has bricked HEAPS of DS's. Blows some sort of fuse inside the DS. I'd personally pay a couple of pound more and buy the DSTT or EdgeDS and have peace of mind.

I am not convinced the fuse blowing story , isnt largely scaremongering started by fanboys of other cards.
Many of the current R4 cards are fake ( and likely to be the same chipsets as the N5 ) , but they don't get the same scaremongering.
Where are the actual people who have had their DS bricked by an N5 ( nobody here, and i have seen as many forum posts for other cards blowing fuses as there are posts from N5 users).
DX report they have the same return rate with the DSTT card as these.

My partner has an N5 and has no problems.

Personally i would buy an Acecard2 for the extra couple of quid just for peace of mind . I do prefer the ease of use of the R4 and N5 ( its set up and menus are the same) though.

I wouldn't take the risk at all with this N5 Card .....GET A DSTT !!!!

I've bought at least 12 DSTT's from Dealextreme plus other bits and bobs and every one has been delivered. within 10 days.

Sods law the 1st DSTT i got didn't work but every other one since then has worked fine.

I never returned the duff DSTT as it wasn't cost effective to do so.

Will definately buy from Dealextreme again in the future !!

The link in my last post is one of the larger sites reviewing devices, emulators and FAQ's... etc. Read their forums... I beg to differ with your scaremongering story theory. If you are willing to take the risk, thats fine.

If you click the link, even dealextreme who are trying to shift these are warning potential buyers:

For your information -- Please Read
Reports have been received that these carts are suspected to cause a fuse in NDS to blow out, rendering the NDS unbootable until the fuse is fixed (DIY-able).
.
As the reported defective units remain normal (close to that of the DSTT), DX is unable to 100% verify this situation.

If you want to save yourself less than a pound, take the chance.

I am a bit confused with these different cards..

Who knows which is the best one? R4? DSTT? N5? Acekard2?...

Any difference among them???

Read this :

I'd recommend the DSTT from Dealextreme.com though.

Everyone I know with a N5DS has had problems.
Personally I like the R4DS, its reliable and easy to upgrade with the latest software.
