I got my N95 from Phones4U on Sunday.

Vodafone - 500 mins and 500 texts for £40 a month on a 12 month contract. Phones4U credit £90 cashback to my account after a month, so it works out at £32.50 a month.

I also asked for a blank phone, without the Vodafone logo on it, so it is unlocked too, albeit without Vodaphone's 512MB MicroSD card, but you could buy that online for about a fiver.

yes does not sound a bad deal on orange,i nearly got one today but a few things put me off, orange have disabled the truephone voip option so not allowing you to use it as an internet phone via wifi and their orange homescreen software slows the phone down compared to a simfree factory nokia, not sure what else they have changed on the phone ? why cant they leave things alone ?also found out the sat nav uses gprs which costs money to download data to your phone everytime you need directions, but you can view maps for free if they are stored on your phone, the other thing was -every network seems to have this offer on today on the £35 free phone deal but vodaphone give you a free headset ang 1gig memorycard,im still searching for a better deal so if anyone knows of one please post it ...thanks:thumbsup:

I nearly ordered one of these yesterday but after some research and chatting to Vodafone it seems the build quality is questionable. Vodafone told me they have had over 1200 returned already which is not good compared to only a handful of Sony Ericcson W880i's for instance.
Might be nothing but though I'd mention it

I reckon this phone is going to get really affordable soon with the iphone on the horizon in the UK. There is also the K850i due out soon which should have as good a camera as the N95.

That's a good deal on the orange n95, but what about t mobile? I really want to use the data capabilities of this phone too. Orange and o2 totally suck when it comes to data (like £2 per mb) and voda while better is 7.50 per month for 120mb (but £2 per mb after that!) is still lame and of course the best is t mobile 7.50 unlimited mobile internet.

I hope T-mobile comes to the table with an offer to match!

I think you will get most of the networks trying to flog the top end phones (like the N95) for free soon and locking people to 12 months+ contracts except O2, the reason is simple, the iphone!

I'll reserve my judgement on the iphone until I have had a play but it looks good. However I won't be rushing out to get one when it comes out.

Just beware that these things a re a bit hit and miss I ordered one from a deal here a month ago and after 3 days the front cover had worked it's way loose. After a bit of google I certainly wasnt the only one.

Great phone features just the implementation didnt impress me with build quality for both software or phone hardware :x

For some reason i still want one though :whistling: :giggle: :)

As soon as I got my N95 (£200 + £25/mth for 12 mths on t-mobile) I added the w+w data package for £7.50/mth. There is absolutely no point in getting this phone if you're not going to make full use of it's on-line capabilities and to do that you need an affordable data plan - I didn't know that Orange, O2 and Voda were so expensive and if it's true I'd not buy an N95 from them - I'd be constantly worried that a hugh data bill would be coming my way:w00t:

yea i got the same deal about month and half ago, but because i had a unlocked version had to wait for the 2gb card it came with. In the end they didnt have any 2gb come in so promised to give me the cash if i went to another store and got the price... off i went to CPW £50 :D. Ebay 1gb 5.00 Deliverd. Result, great phone by the way, go for it!

I got one from orange last week as a upgrade, i got 1000mins and 100 text for £30pm if you are an existing customer you may well get a better deal
#19

#20
can't wait till they offer it free on t-mobile
#21
Does anyone have any insider info on when it might be free on tmob?
#22

But why would you want an N95? Battery life quoted as ONE DAY! It's a brick! And you have to pay extra to use the GPS... then even more to download the maps!
#24
Because it has one of the best cams!! thanks for the post.
#25
Also it is the only handset which has built in GPS

Because its an all round do it all phone, excellent features, excellent screen, excellent camera. You cant expect a 3-4 day battery out of such a power house! But then i guess you cant always please everyone!
