Order has to be over £6 / £6.50 ? Did this the other day to bring me upto a Free half chicken! Had to ask the server for 2 stamps though because she didn't know....

Good deal.

But how does this work exactly. If I have one stamp already getting two with my order means that I would get 1/4 chicken free in the same order? or would I have to wait for the next one ?
#7
we like Nandos! :)
#8
They don't stamp mine, they just sign them? I could easily just fake the whole thing!
#9
Just like that milkshake one in bluewater where they add stuff into it like chocolate bars etc n blend em. They just do a squiggle. I've had many free milkshakes thanks to them ;) Tehe x

Hey Guy's, i work for Nando's, this deal is on till the end of the world cup, any TAKE AWAY or PHONE order's are eligible for 2 stamps!

You can always skip a free chicken if you don't want to claim it there and then and get the next number stamped, the only thing is some old cards have a Min. Spend of £5.80 and the newer ones are £6.00, as long as you spend that much you can get the eligible free chicken (1/4, 1/2 or whole)

Be sure the first thing you do is tell the cashier that you want to whichever free chicken cause if you tell them near the end if will complicate things and make the process a pain.

**Also you can always get a new card stamped, and have them transferred over if you have forgotten yours at home, some Nando's even stamp the receipt for you!

Hope this Information helps!!

And for the person that just wrote Halal? what are you trying to say...

Thanks for the info very useful.

Regarding the Halal I think he probably meant that he prefers or can only eat Halal chicken, which is a chicken that has been killed in a special way for religious purposes or something along those lines. If they are not sure if the chicken is Halal they can not eat it and have to go with a vegetarian option. At least that how I understood from a friend that only eat Halal.

I know what Halal is mate, I'm from the Middle East. I just didn't understand is post! =p

You will find Halal Nando's around dominant Muslim area's, like mainly outside London, and a few in London.

Funny that should be said though because were I work it's not Halal but we get many Muslims come in and order Chicken anyways fully aware that its not Halal.

That was a top tip from Gordon Ramsey. The scabs hog all the flavour.

I've got a full card, but I havent taken any of the free chicken yet. Do I have to use the 1/4 and 1/2 before I can claim the whole chicken?

I'm asking because me and the other half arent really interested in chicken on the bone as we normally only get the pittas. I dont really fancy messing around picking the meat of the chicken is its a 1/4 or 1/2 but I guess if its a whole one then it is worth it. I know thats a bit weird but i dont really like meat on the bone.

It wold be much better for us if we could just have free pittas instead, i tried to talk to someone about that and they said I could have something vegatarian, but they didnt say what. Very confusing!

TIA

You could politely ask to get something of the same value as the 1/4 and 1/2. And no, you can use your free chickens whenever you like. Get them all at once if you want!

Anyway, great deal OP.

HA HA! Thanks everyone!

Only one claim at a time, you can not get all 3 free chickens at once, if you opt for the full chicken and still have 1/2 or 1/4 you will loose them as we need to retain the card once the whole chicken is claimed.

and as the other guy said, you can respectively change them for something of equivalent price, it's under managements discretion.

For Example, yesterday I had a guy trade in his 1/4 chicken (£3.15) for a starter of Hummus (£3.00), and also a 1/2 chicken traded for a veggie single wrap, pita or burger.

thanks darlin!
but you know what its hard work trying to uphold standards and not getting caught up in the bad taste of the masses.

Oh that makes sense! I got 1/4 and 1/2 free at once and assumed it was the same.

Well, the one I occasionally use does great food. It's simple food, properly prepared and cooked. My only gripe is the cost - how they charge so much for bloody chicken is a mystery.

People who go to Nandos more than once need their heads examining. It's just overpriced KFC.

Nandos chicken is grilled, not fried. Other than both using chicken, there is no similarity between KFC and Nandos.

And yes, it is overpriced. Still tastes absolutely scrumptious. :-D
#28
overpriced but blooming gorgeous!!
#29
Only as overpriced as any other 'budget type resteraunt' like TGI's, Frankie & Benny's, Pizza Hut etc... You pay your money you take your choice as they say..
#30
I always thought I can only claim either 1/4, 1/2 OR full chicken in one card??

From what I have read now, I can actually claim all 3 of them using one card???

Love Nandos! But not a lot serve halal..i only eat halal.

Most ppl(muslims included) do not know exactly why we shouldn't eat non-halal. It's not just a religious issue but actually a health issue too. Religion tells us to eat halal(literal meaning: 'permissible') because there's some logic behind it.

If not slaughtered the halal way, the animal meat retains blood - and it's a known fact that blood is not clean even after the meat is cooked. It's a carrier of toxins and a medium for germs and bacteria to flourish. The halal way, most of the blood is drained from the meat so it's more hygienic, tastes better and stays fresh longer too.

The other issue is pain felt by the slaughtered animal. More on this for those who are interested is here: http://www.themodernreligion.com/misc/an/an_slaughter.htm

I dont know how people can call nandos expensive, it is good value for money compared to the usual italian/curryhouse/chinese type places, and i always leave feeling full.

I love it, but it is really expensive.
A bit of chicken and some chips and you're paying £8+!?

Funny how all students (cash strapped people) opt to go to Nando's then any other restaurant because of it's value for money, it's unlimited refill soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta & Sprite) It's free filtered (not tap) water and ice at your service and off-course the Yummy and Healthy Frozen Yogurt (unlimited too)!!!

No Posh Service, simple but scrumptious HEALTHY food, and no pressure to kick you out to make space for new customers!

Oh not to mention what kinda customers you get in KFC compared with Nando's....
