  Hmm. With that thinking I guess you don't need insurance either. The fact is that safety features and insurance are only used when you do have an accident and that may not be your fault. Just say you are innocently driving past a junction and some idiot pulls out and T-bones your car. The child seat might be the difference between life and death for your child.

  No doubt there will be someone will moan that this is like finding pixie poo, but worth keeping an eye out if in a store - I managed to find a few deals from items that had yet to be priced but knew had been discounted. And this is simular to my high chair for £6 deal :)

  Great price but I would never buy a cheap car seat EVER. I know price does not always reflect quality but in this case I believe it does, my sister bought a Nania car seat for my niece when she was a baby and it was scarily CRAP!!!

  Or and you have never been fined either as you will get fined for any passenger without a seatbelt & police love to fine fools that dont have their child seated correctly. We bought the britax and the graco and both seats are good and fit in our cars nicely, we feel happy he is safe. I bet this seat is ok for the family on a budget & it will be safe as it has to meet strict safety standards.

  No way in hell I'd chance my kids life on a £6.25 car seat.
  
  And you can be the safest, most highly trained driver in the world but there will always be some idiot out there that through lack of ability plants his car into yours - so there is just no way I'd skimp on car seats.
