Yes, I have seen similar bed frames at this sort of price, but the good reviews made me choose this one!
Some beds that look like this but a cheaper are really actually flimsy and weak but all the reviews for this one state sturdy and a good buy so I'm happy to go with the recommendation!

It's a good bed - the only gripe I'd have is that the faux leather really isn't very durable. I wasn't expecting miracles, but I knocked it one day with the hoover and managed to put a 1 cm long split in it.
I've just learned to be VERY CAREFUL using anything hard near the bed (no pun intended :D )

We ordered an extra deep Silentnight mattress to compensate a little. Thought it would be a little odd at first but like all things you just get used to it - and it makes the room feel a lot bigger ;)
