Its on the website, so national. Good price, I'll stock up again, these are the best I've found up to now.

Plum tomatoes - chopped and/or whole - 3 for £1 in Iceland - not napolina though but hey, tomatoes is tomatoes.
#3
Do you know what the tomato content is? I think these are about 70% (chopped) + juice, stabilising liquid or whatever - just know on the cheap alternatives they're usually more liquid filler

East End chopped tomatoes 4 tins X approx. 400gms (could be 396gms - can't remember the exact weight) for £1 at the Tesco superstores.

As said before Napolina are an expensive brand and the quality seems no better, especially on tinned tomatoes.

nivs123 - I agree - tinned tomatoes is tinned tomatoes!

Maybe they will do a feature on one of the consumer food programmes like "Food Unwrapped" and analyse the tomatoes content in different brands. Or maybe the drained weight should be put on the labels.

Surprised this is not hotter. They're my tinned tomatoes of choice. Thanks OP, I can stock up now.

Its not hotter because they cost twice as much as other tinned tomatoes with little difference to show for the extra cost.

Thank you, perhaps I should try these other brands. I must admit I haven't tried others as I'm really happy with their whole plum tomatoes so have never bothered looking as I always buy on offer so felt as though I was getting a good deal.

The way I do it is I try the cheapest first, and if I am happy with the product, I continue to buy it. If I don't like it much, I step up to the next price level and try that. And so on.

The East End tomatoes from Tesco are fine at 4 tins for £1, 25p each.

Of course I am always on the look out for even better deals, so I will buy an alternative if its better price-wise and taste-wise than my regular purchase. That's the trick, to be aware of prices.

Hello, OP here.

I posted this due to the price drop of a relatively expensive product. I don't usually buy Napolina, but did wonder how they fared against cheaper alternatives.
