Bargain! What I do with mines, is put all my left over garlic into the bottle. It becomes the best ever taste! A little drizzle over supermarket pizza, before I cook, makes it taste like restaurant pizza.

I remember reading there's a problem with making your own garlic oil. May be worth a quick Google?

Just found this:-

Hadn't heard of this before but IF this article is correct should be ok if kept in fridge and not left at room temp for too long.

I saw Dr. Michael Mosely on the BBC2 series, "Trust me I'm a doctor".
One of the episodes (link below) questioned the medicinal benefits of Olive Oil and sought proof of the health benefits claimed by people. A very informative and interesting programme that I would recommend anyone with high blood pressure to watch.http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/tWtLcz30LZm3YTk5VfZ307/is-olive-oil-really-good-for-me
The next day, about 6 months ago I went out and bought some extra virgin olive oil and started taking 20ml every morning.
My GP had previously told me I had high blood pressure and Highish cholesterol levels, He had prescribed me Ramipril tablets. A month ago I was told by my cancer consultant to stop taking them as I had become anaemic and blood tests showed a liver function problem, possibly due to the ramipril. I stopped taking the ramipril but continued with the olive oil.
Ive since had blood tests every week and have my blood pressure taken at least twice a week at clinic. During this time my Blood pressure and cholesterol levels have remained constant at around 140/85, 6 months previously it was around 155/95. There has been no increase in my BP as expected by my doctors. I believe this to be down to the olive oil, as I have not started or stopped taking anything else.
I am a 55 year old man who smoked for 35 years and ate fried breakfasts etc. (I didnt drink though)
Good luck with your improving health. I've had various health issues myself over recent years, like yourself high blood pressure and cancer amongst them so it's always encouraging to hear of people managing to surmount them. I'm a great believer in helping oneself with natural remedies - of course with the knowledge of GP as there can be conflicts with prescribed medication sometimes. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I hope you give it a go, its easier to control cholesterol by preventing build up in the first place. Ive got my 3 sons on it now and they are only in their twenties! X)
