Pesto annoyingly expensive - this is a good price so HOT. Haven't made y own yet as think that will be even more costly, but is likely to be 100 times better I reckon.

A bit naff compared to sacla, but you can rarely get Sacla for a reasonable price, so hot! Why pesto is so expensive is beyond me.

Pesto in jars is not a patch on the real thing....although adding chopped crispy bacon helps!

Aldi one is the best, as mentioned above, is around a quid a jar. Think the price has gone up recently

According to this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2235484/Which-pesto-best-We-brands-test.html

Contains Ricotta rather than Parmesan and sunflower oil rather than olive oil. Think I will give it a miss. Just bought the Co-op one to try at £1.19 but according to that artcle, if you go to Tesco you would be better off with their own brand - for taste AND nutrition.

Just make your own! You don't even need to blend it, you can just chuck all the ingredients chopped up on to pasta or whatever.
