You can get a full bottle - 750ml - in Lidl! Napolina is highly overpriced stuff.

For how much?

Napolina has been accused of mixing refined oil and passing it off as extra virgin.

Look up "venta del baron" either on google or ebay - the best olive oil in the world according to the various competitions around the globe.

I've started using it and I'll never go back to this rubbish

Thanks, was looking for good olive oil, but for salads only. Its too expensive for cooking, i would rather buy 25kg organic cold pressed coconut oil for £220, cheaper and much much more healthier and beneficial.

EDIT: Have you tried to buy straight from Spain this oil?
Works out £94.65 for 10liters Mueloliva Venta del Baron oil, including delivery to UK. Wonder will i have to pay any customs or VAT?

£3 for 1 ltr Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Lidl.
And it tastes really nice.

Hi nlogan1988 - for less than £2 - I think it was £1.79 for extra virgin oil in Lidl.

I rarely use olive oil for cooking as the heat apparently alters its beneficial characteristics to unbeneficial ones. I just use it to flavour salads and things like fried courgette sandwiches - I fry them in veg oil and when browned, I add salt, pepper and olive oil for flavour.

Used to buy from the Spanish website but they took almost a month to ship when I ordered. Got my last tin from ebay, was delivered next day.

No customs or VAT from Spain, it was just slow delivery any my credit card company put a 3%fee on for paying in Euro's.

In fairness last time I checked the ebay seller offered a discount on more than one, plus it takes me an age to get through 4 tins so ordering 1 at a time works out better for me.

Coconut oil is definately the way forward for frying, this stuff is for salads and table use only. Tastes absolutely mindblowing.
