Although probabaly a good deal I had to vote this as cold simply because it was posted during the two minutes when we shold have been remembering those who gave their lives in our defence.

I shall say no more about those who disrespect our fallen to this degree so that I do not come into conflict with the moderators, but it is a shame and a symptom of the society in which we live.

Good deal otherwise.....

Who cares? Clearly not you, typing away at 11:11 instead of remembering those who gave their lives so you could complain about people posting deals on deal sites at inappropriate times

While I feel very strongly about honouring the fallen, your comment is outrageous. The deal may have been posted seconds before but due to the vagaries of the internet, the update appeared after.

That said, how do you know it wasn't done in silence.

I feel that your comments and stance trivialises the whole idea of the 2 minute slience.

My telly was on three minutes delay so I missed it as the time was wrong, just one of those things as I try to observe it as I do when at work.........not worth abusing someone, though.

Oh grow up, the person could have been observing a 2 minute silence whilst typing away. I suppose air traffic controllers, pilots, drivers, surgeons etc are all evil and disrespectful in your view too. FGS

Ooooh what about those in different time zones should they show their respect to GMT or local time????

Some would argue that those who observe the 2 minutes silence are disrespectful by only remembering the fallen for 2 minutes every year and not more often!

Hot deal!

How do you prepare this stuff anyhow? - I have got some at home and am not sure how to apply it to recipes.

My mum usually soaks a handfull in hot water and uses the water in the recipes to give the tamarind flavour. This is probably one of many ways of using this.

same stuff that is used in HP brown sauce!

Soak whole packet (minus the wrapper!) in 12 floz water for 30 mins, rub through sieve, throw away seeds and skin, use resulting paste.

Not bad, it's about half its usual price - around 29p in Morrisons - I'm surprised Sainsbury's stock Natco.
