Does this not apply to children? Birmingham to london was £1 for 1 adult £2 for 2 adults and for 2 adults and 1 child £22.50? all for the same time

Its not bad but as my child is only 4 he is free on the train so that works out cheaper. Still a good deal though.

Pointless - all the £1 fares are the last of first coach of the day.
i.e. 23:20 or 02:55
Cold.

Says " Book your travel between 22 January and 5 February 2011. "
22nd January is tomorrow....

ok...flaw to the plan, I knew I wouldn't get a £1 fun fare, however I thought I would check...£31.50 for 3 people to London from Cambridge normal rate or...the fun fare is £39...so not exactly a funfair...fare from a £1 my bottom there is...but still if you can get them go go go, I may have a play around for a bit to see the random places I can go from Cambridge for a squid in the half term to entertain the little one...

managed to get the bus from newcastle to glasgow on the 17th for £1
going to then go to edinburgh on the 18th and come back on the 19th for £1

bargain thanks

Check what? That you're buying a more expensive fare? The only reason a child ticket even exists is to save people money.

Make the kids wear moustaches and grey wigs

bump the kid up to an adult..... hardly required a though

Fed up with trying to get national express deals - now always go with Greyhound, seems easier to get the £1 fares at any time of the year and so much comfier... only big downside is the limited number of coaches per day and very few destinations.

How stupid or clueless are some people? So what if kids are more, as stated buy 3 adults. Don't try telling me or anyone that the driver will say excuse me child can't board because you have adult ticket. You hear something more stupid every day on here, just like cold because only certain times available.

i see your point but if you see some of the drivers how moody and how nasty they can be i dont know if its worth the argument!!! they will just send you home!!

Yeah this put me right off. I don't really want to travel at 7am for hours, be tired all day, have to cut my night short and then get up early the next day for a similarly long early journey.

Seems only good if you're going to spend more than one day somewhere.

Its still not bad as im travelling 7am in morning to my destination and getting back on coach at 7pm which is not bad for £2 return and same day so im not complaining at all who cares about sleep you can catch up on that anytime lol

Seems only good if you're going to spend more than one day somewhere.

Just booked a return Sheffield- London, for £2. Times were ok as well
#33
I booked for manchester to london then returning 2 days later. Paid £6 altogether for my son and I. I booked each way seperately to get the offer plus included in the £6 is £2 fee to have the tickets posted to me as I've no printer.
Bargain :)

I've noticed it charges you more if you try booking for more than 2 people so I'd say do your bookings seperately. I'm going to book for my sister, her fella and my niece today. If try booking them all together it says £25.50 but if break them down and book my neice with her dad then my sister seperately then its still £1 each.
Hope that makes sense.

Now I just need to find a cheap hotel or hostel for 2 nights :)
