Terms & Conditions

1. Offer only available on National Express coaches

2. Offer only available via the website www.nationalexpress.com/mirror

3. No refunds available

4. No further discounts permitted

5. Not available for travel to/from an airport

6. UK only travel

7. You can get off the coach at a location earlier than the one on your ticket (with the exception of airports), providing you tell the driver when you get on, prior to putting your luggage in the hold.

8. Your seat is guaranteed from the location shown on your ticket, but if you wish to board at a later point (with the exception of airports), we will let you travel as long as there are still seats available – your seat will not be guaranteed.

9. You must travel on the timed journey you are booked on; if you want to travel at another time you will need to amend your ticket (by calling the National Express Contact Centre or visiting a National Express ticket office) before the departure time shown on your ticket. Please note that if you amend your ticket, you will be upgrading to a new fare category, so the difference between the two fares will be charged and an amendment fee will apply

10. Must be printed as an e-Ticket or received as an m-Ticket

11. The offer is subject to availability and only available on selected journeys

Haven't booked yet as my daughter is waiting for her new timetable but she's at uni in Norwich and is coming home for a weekend in February and the total cost is £2.50 return. Once she has the times of her lectures, she can book her tickets.

Many thanks, saves my daughter a fortune
#6
Happy to help :)
Same as your daughter, I'm planning a trip back home in February from uni, would have been about £60 without this offer!! :w00t:

Err, where are your facts to back this up? I've been on about 7 and they've been perfect! Really great except for the toilet (go before you get on folks).

And you know, great coincidence that you posted this less than an hour before I was going to search for it again as I need a coach XD

Brilliant offer, will be able to see a friend down south for the grand total of £10 instead of the usual £50. Do you need to collect any tokens for this deal?

Stuff national Express. Got the coach from Heathrow to Bath yesterday their drivers are physcos. Last night I got on the coach and at the next stop, I was told I had to take my bag off the seat next to me by the driver for more passengers, I said fair enough, and that I would put it in the overhead compatments, it didn't fit so I said I would take some things out, and he said 'no it's gonig in the hold' snatched it from me, and put it in the boot, I ran out and said he can't do that as I have some expensive equipment to take out, and he said tough luck and slammed the door shut. Then when I got to my destination he dropped my back on the ground, I almost punched his lights out.Absolute nutter and I will be complaining about this, hope he loses his job.

Time before when i took the coach from heathrow to Bath, another wierd inbred driver refused to let some guy on the coach because he could small cigarette smoke on his breath and there was no smoking in Heathrow, he then starting to drive off down the road, and the guy had to chase after him and aplogise.

National Express?, NATIONAL DISGRACE!!. Book ahead and get the train

You Wazuck - did you get your facts from playing Gran Theft Auto?

Coach is much more attractive option than Trains esp if you are unfortunate to live in Midlands where Midlands trains took over the franchise last year and on their first day put up already high prices by 40% on most routes...... and removed every single ticket offer - meaning it now costs £34.50 from Notts to Manchester and £60+ to London.

Then last week they announce another 10-20% increase in fares!!!!!

Oh How I wish I still lived in a Virgins Trains area (£1 deals galore.........) sickeningly jealous.lol

Spot on, was looking at tickets from Leicester to Manchester, all above £17, changed it to London and a few showing as £5 and a few at £1.

It may not help for this trip, but I think nationalexpresseastcoast.com is a much better place to get your train tickets from. I often find cheaper tickets on this site than the trainline (never more expensive) plus there is no booking fee and free 1st class postage.

Good one, asshat. Can you back this up with facts?

Don't suppose so.
#23
not voted either way as i chose the tickets that said from £1 and the cheapest combined total for a return ticket manc-london for me and the kids is £99.10 so i think i'll stick with the train!
#24
Prices seem to be the same as going direct http://www.nationalexpress.com

Not showing any funfares from Birmingham to London in March even though the monthly calender is showing £1 for each day. Can one only book two months in advance, the offer does say until the 27.03?
#26
Anybody else notice the typo on the page?

Remember, to get the best fares you need to book by 1 February 2008!

There's always one.

Lucky you then. Normal price for a 2 leg return journey I've been wanting to make is £60, never found it below that, even looking months in advance. Just booked return with this offer for £15, looked on the site, and the same journey through the normal website was £65 for the same date/time. Pretty good if you ask me
Admittedly some of the £1 fares are quite early/late in the day, but still pretty good value :)

useless, you can get the tickets directly as well, and most of the days there is only 1 journey that is for one pound and the rest are normal price and you can imagine the time of that journey... :@

For those who find they can't get a bargain, don't forget Megabus who, I believe are also doing a lot of extra £1 fares currently. Of course, you do have to book more in advance with them and their routes are not so widespread as NatEx.
Go to www.megabus.com

I agree amazing offer but could not find a 50p booking fee on the website - even cheaper - brilliant
