I have had a look to check that this is not a double post, I could not find anything, this is different to the "Daily Star" offer that was on here a week ago.

So, the offer,

Go to: http://express.co.uk/features/view/160674/Travel-from-1-with-National-Express

Read the info an T&C about the travel dates, then click to goto the National Express website, via the special link, then look at the dates, there are lots to choose from, £1 one way,per person!

Travel valid from March 1st - March 21st.

If you do vote cold, please give a reason!!

I prefer an aisle seat:whistling:

I dont like coach travel, but if it saves me £30.... whoohooo! :)

I find the seats on many newer coaches really uncomfortable. Hard plasticky seats, too small, very cramped conditions and seats don't recline.
And the person behind you is yakking on their phone all the way or someone is playing a games machine with all the sound effects and you want to strangle them. :x
But I suppose if it's cheap and you want to get there then it is still a good deal.

What annoys me is that most public transport seems to be deigned for midgets these days! Some of the buses here in Liverpool only have about 4 or 5 inches between each row of seats!

Stagecoach got some new buses recently and Merseytravel described them as "safer and more comfortable". Sorry but when the seat in front of you has six inches of ridiculous plastic decking on the back and you and you have to lean forward or put your legs in the aisle way because there's simply no room for them then how is that more comfortable.

Even the Virgin Pendelino trains have significantly less leg room that the Intercity 125's they replaced.

I'm 6ft 2in which although all is hardly giant status they should be accomadating transport for everyone within reason

Good deal. I regularly use National Express to travel from Liverpool to Manchester: £4 return with a guaranteed seat so I don't have to stand up for nearly an hour on the cattle trucks that serve as railway carriages on that route. You do often end up next to a youth in a hoodie who plays constantly on his mobile but that is a small price to pay. And no vouchers needed so you don't have to buy the Express and make the newsagent think you are a fascist.

Yeah the Pacer trains on that route are horrendous! Bring on electrification.
