Cheap kiln dried hardwood from £145.00 for 2m3 with free delivery @ nationalfirewood

I have been looking for firewood and have found this site. They appear to be very competitively priced, 2 cubic meters (3 builders bags) of kiln dried oak for £145 with free mainland delivery.

I bought this and the wood is burning as I type - the wood is good - but I'm not happy with the delivery.

They sent it on two pallets that the courier company - yes, courier company, not a tippy truck or anything designed for wood - struggled get off their van as the pallets were too heavy. The poor guy eventually got it off (took well over half an hour) but as the pallet trolley couldn't go on the gravel they couldn't put the wood near the store.

Nothing like the delivery service they advertise on the website.

The wood is now dumped in the drive and the car can't get in or out.

Not recommended at all.

May I be pedantic and suggest changing the title to 2 cubic metres, as 2m3 would be a much better deal.
What's the difference?
The difference is 2 lots of 1mx1mx1m (which is what this deal is) and 2mx2mx2m (i.e. 8 cubic metres) which is another way of reading "2m3"
I assume you don't work in the construction industry. There's never been confusion of that type in my experience. I agree it's better written as 2 m3 if that's the point though. 2mx2mx2m can be written as (2m)^3 to give the result you quote.

Thanks for that link user. £15 a bag cheaper than my current cheapest supplier and delivered on Wednesday.
Pedantic and wrong
