Not a hot deal, I paid £59.99 for mine and they were on ebuyer for £49.99 a short while ago. Voted cold.

Point taken, but I don't have a time machine:thumbsup:

lol, fair point, next best price is £75 that I could find.

*wishes he could take cold vote back and not be such a smart-ass*

It is a great bit of kit. They can be used to run TomTom if you want.

The only downside is that the speaker is a bit weak and tinny, which can be an issue if you've got the radio on in the car.

I got mine for £49.99, but £65 is still a good deal, time machine notwithstanding :)

ooohh..I wish I knew how to run Tom Tom...
Mine is very slow at 'starting up'
and quite slow at giving direction...even in the 'quick mode'
then again..I am using it on a Motorbike!, and it has major trouble picking up roundabouts on dual carriage ways that have a spur off to the roundabout with an underpass so you actually go under the roundabout
..........' at the next roundabout turn right '
What roundabout?.oh...that one I just went under! Dohhh!!
Nice solid built bit of kit tho, but you will have to pick up a 6v charger as there is'nt one in the box

They must be changing the price of this like the weather. Yesterday morning I checked ebuyer and it was £53.95 or something like that. Still a good deal though.

Google the Miomap instructions, I have it on my Navigo unit and it is even better than Tomtom. Much easier to use and clearer maps.

Assuming you have a proper copy of it, the best way is to use a 2 GB SD card and you keep the filestraucture the same as the original card. When you pu TT on it, you rename the folder and exe fil as mobilenavigator.

For a better link, try the older thread about this unit as they have a lot of good links.

It is relatively painless to do

It can run tomtom AND miomaps (and maybe others). I loaded up USA maps on TomTom the other day (and i'm not even going for 6 months).

Lol "you've been watching ebuyer tv, until next time......." you can always watch that guy showing the other cheap sat nav if you want.

Got this for £49.99 when it was on offer last time. Have unlocked WinCE5 on it and have lots of programs running on it. Well worth the money!

The stock levels on this have gone from less than 100 this morning to 1333 now!!! If these figures are correct I reckon it can't be long before Ebuyer reduce the price on this... hold out if you can. I would like a couple more but am reluctant to pay more than the £59.99 I did before. I have just seen that it now comes with a set of headphones - but that doesn't make it worth £5 more.
