Shame these have gone up to £69.99, as they were a tenner cheaper 2 days ago.

Ebuyer adjust the price of their items according to supply and demand. Still a good deal though.

However, it doesn't say this price on the website. It's coming up at £69.99.

This is on their "eDeals" newsletter, and it states at the top that prices are valid until Monday. Giving the 10th of March at the bottom.

eBuyer
Prices are valid until noon on Monday 10th March 2008 or whilst stocks last.

Give them a ring on 0872 111 22 22. See what they say.

The Navman N20 supports 8 digit - "Its next-generation capabilities range from postcode searches (including UK 8-digit postcodes)". come on £49.99!

Also "Built-in rechargeable Li-ion 15000 mAh battery" 15amps! think this should be 1500mAh.
#11
Please tell me an 8 digit uk postcode.
#12
I have phoned them and they said If you place the order then call back they will ammend the order. I placed The order and it went through @ £49.99 so no need to call them....

What a result as I was going to buy this @ £59.99 the other day then it jumped to £69.99

Happy days, will load Tomtom once received

Well if Navman and TomTom support it there must be 8 digit postcodes out there.
#14

Mine shows £69.99 right till the end. Where does it change to the lower price?
Was it £49..99 right at the start when added to your basket?

Ok, tried this about 4 times - still showing £69.99 - I reckon it oly changes if you were one of those that received the newsletter (hence only those accounts that received the newsletter will see the price drop after logging in). When I called them they said they'd put me through to pre sales who could make the adjustment but only if you forward them a copy of the newsletter.....
#22
not sure why you guys get £49.99 and i don't. Logged on and go right through to entering card details and still says £69.99. doh!

There isn't AFAIK and I work for them. 7 is the max currently - if anyone knows different, please feel free to chip in.

Just cleared cookies & logged back in - still £69.99!!!!

Ok people...unless you received the original newsletter you're not gonna get this price.

I've just spent about 15 mins on the phone to them (10 a minute) got to the last stage & the chap says "I need a copy of the email you received" I told him I didn't receive it, he then says "well these only went out to a select number of people, so I can't do this price for you". Phone call ends.

So how come only a few get these email newsletters?
#29
I didn't log on and it showed as £69.99. However, I logged in and it now shows £49.99

Does anyone know how difficult it would be to add US maps to these? I wanted to allow guests at my villa to use one when they rent so that they can find their way around easier, so US maps would be great. The cheapest US only unit I could find while over there was £100.
#30
Ebuyer are obviously sending out different newsletters to different people, a few weeks ago some people got free next day delivery and others didnt.

it would be interesting to know how they decide who gets what, and also if the same people that got the free delivery also get this sat nav for £50

Re 8 digit post codes: it is possible that they include the space in between the outward and inward parts of the postcode, making it 8 digits
#31
Just ordered after I found the email in my recycle bin .

Login & it drops £20
#32
I called them on 0871 5213300: -

Me - "Hi, got an email about a cheap sat nav but it's the wrong price on the web"
Customer Support - "Yeah we're having problems with that. Place the order, give me the order number and I'll change the price for you."

It's as simple as that!

Just got the email too!! If you get one, then post here so I can try too
#34
how are they going to change the billing price if you pay via paypal or google checkout ?
#35
Just ordered 2
#36
I refuse to be friends with anyone who has an 8 digit post code.
#37
just did the same - quick call and price changed there and then
#38
people that are phoning to get £49.99 price did you receive the email?
If not do they mention the email?

Cheers.
#39
Made me laugh that this was voted cold because it only has 7 digit postcodes. Let's not buy this because it can only take us to 99.9% of UK addresses...
#40
Help I really want one but if i go though checkout it stays at £69.99 I want it for £49.99. did everything bar putting my card details in.
