Make sure you leave them attached to your windscreen or if you remove, don't remove the suction cup mark. Makes it easier for your car to be identified and broken into for the sat nav or phone you may (or may not) have in your glove compartment.

When Sat navs first became generally available, they cost about £250-300 and were worth nicking. Now £50-60 new, £10-15 dahn the pub? That suction cup mark thing is way past it's sell by.

May as well get a few - I've had so many of these break.

this "might" be perfect with a bit of heavy duty velco for sticking a kinect sensor to a tv or even the wall.

Unfortunately my Kinect isn't in the country and I'm not paying £7 next day delivery before I leave in the new year. I'll have to stick with my velcro a box to a wall stand idea for now :P

I thought I lived in a 'crime free' area; car was parked nose-in on the drive and I'd lazily left the mount on the windscreen (satnav in glove-compartment) - apparently over 20 cars were broken into the same night as mine.
If I'd removed the mount I'd have been fine, but the forensic officer seemed to believe the suction cup mark 'myth'.
Basically if a thief sees any sign to show what they want is in your car and they have the opportunity then you're in trouble...

P.S. Hot deal - I need one of these as they nicked the bracket and power lead but dropped the navigo ;)

Its the wee clip that attached to this that I need - any idea where i could get one of them ?
#13
ordered a couple of these a few days ago, as i accidentally snapped mine when taking it off the windscreen, bargain at this price. Also ordered a new hard drive for PS3 and somehow I managed to get free next day delivery too? - not sure why total was only £36...
#14
does anywhere still sell the actual satnav unit, as the screen on mine is flickering, and would like a replacement
#15
Just in case the price goes back up you can get them from here for £4-21 delivered,

Somebody is using these (or similar) as a Kinect camera TV mount, not sure what they do to make them stick to the TV but 30ish quid takes the pee.....

There are plenty of people who'd smash a car window if they saw a couple of quid change lying on your dashboard, so you can safely assume they'd take a punt on smashing in for a chance of a SatNav.

Hot deal btw

£6.99 delivery charge makes this a totally useless offer.

But with £2.99 super saver (or free if you're spending over £50) it's just fine; but please post a better deal if you have one.
