been looking for a sat nav for ages , bought one today
tom tom xl version 1 for £85 in argos plus a fiver voucher back
much better than this , may be hard to get stock though as i got the last in my nearest store
It's a good price based on it's previous cost and same product in other stores... :)

Oh well.. Let the cold votes commence I suppose....
Good price - TT XL V1s not that good, normally far more expensive than the unobtainable Argos deal above and TT customer service sucks.
Only advantage of TTs is that the hacking community have the TTs sussed.
Good prices by Halfords.
Last year my friend purchased a Navigon 1200 from a branch of Halfords somewhere in London but he lost the receipt and the unit has gone faulty. Every time I try to switch it on the Navigo logo screen shows and a short piece of music plays then it restarts again and again. It does connect to my PC via the USB cable and I can see all the files and software in the internal memory.
Navigon said they may be able to repair it but it would cost too much and Halfords aren't interested without a receipt.
My friend said if I could get it going, I could keep it, because he has since purchased another unit.
Can anyone suggest anything I could try to get it going?
