Navman iCN 720 - sat navigation - Built in Camera To Take Your Own Geo-tagged Pictures - You Can Always Be Sure Of Planning And Arriving At The Right Destination!

Imagine no more as the Navman iCN 700 series and the iCN 720 introduce a revolutionary new way to navigate - straight out of the box.

The iCN 720 combines the latest software for reliable and accurate GPS navigation with NavPix, the revolutionary way to use real pictures of destinations to plan your route.

And, as you can also use the Navman iCN 720 to take your own geo-tagged pictures, you can always be sure of arriving at the right destination

As well as introducing this revolutionary new way to navigate, the iCN 720 provides the easy way to find the nearest petrol station or parking facility with its Fuel and Park buttons.

The fascia additionally includes the Home button which enables you to automatically plan your route home at the touch of a button.

You can import your own points of interest (POIs) and NavPix-referenced images, such as safety cameras, to personalise your route planning options.

The Back-on-Track? software will also put you back on your right route automatically if you miss a turn, ensuring that the best route is calculated without having to do anything.

The iCN 720 integrates with the optional T1 Traffic Pack which delivers real-traffic updates directly to your Navman. You will then know in advance about any problems on your route and can automatically recalculate your route if you want.

Furthermore, once you have bought the Traffic Pack, there are no additional subscriptions for the traffic updates.

I suspect that it is simply because this is an old model of a product where the technology which is getting better all the time.

I've just got one from Novatech. Obviously had the same email! :) Ummed and erred about it for a while, but considering this is quite a capable unit, if you don't need / want bluetooth, then at this price it's worthwhile, especially as many places are still selling them at nearer £300! Now all I need to do is work out how to load the speed camera database and maybe buy the traffic module.

shame the Euro maps cost an extra £99, I'd probably go for the Navman F20 European instead for £149 online

I wouldn't buy the traffic module. I have it and it is almost useless. In my experince it gets the info too late to be of any use.

I've heard that somewhere else too. Maybe I'll just stick to the RDS on the radio instead. I've been impressed with how easy and accurate the ICN720 is in use.
