Are Navman's any good or are TOMTOM's any better or any other SatNav?

Look at the Reevoo Comments on Dixons website. Navman in my opioion are a good make, this one has got the full works. I may ask her in doors if I can have one as when we go away we always get lost and end up falling out!

Description at Dixons says "in-car" not "handheld". Can it be used as "handheld"...? That would be nice :)

It is advertised as small enough to fit in your pocket, the tech spec is;-

200g 79mm (H) x 139mm (W) x 20mm (D)

It looks as though you need a big pocket, however if it was too small it would be no good for in car use.

I noticed it also has a 2M pixel camera.

Its an all singing all dancing top of the range model, BUT, according to some of the posts on pocketworldgps, it has its problems!! It sounds like its users can't recommended it which is a shame.
The prices are coming down because new models will be coming out next month called 'MOOV' or 'Navman Sxx 3D' which are the first models produced since Mio bought Navman, The new devices use TeleAtlas maps with 3D building/land data.
I think its worth waiting for things to settle as lots of companies(Garmin, tomtom, navman ,mio) have new models coming out, have a look at the Igo 8 software.

We've got one of these and it works really well. The voice prompting from it is some of the best I've heard from any SatNav. You can set it for walking pace as well.
The camera is gimmicky I think but quite amusing, you can take a picture and it records its position, then you can upload it to their database and anyone can download areas into their device, so you can be driving along and someones picture can show up on your screen!
Good price, we paid £200 from Costco (it might have to be returned now to take advantage of this).
