This is also available in a few stores as well, I saw it last night and completely forgot to post it (what with it being Friday night and beer needing to be drunk:))

I just called them. I asked specifically about the Yeading branch, however, I was told that it was only an online offer. I wanted to avoid paying more in postage than for the actual product. :(

They're a shop that buys and sells games. I think it's online too.

It would be rude not to vote this hot.

Nope I did a search and got nothing, then took a while making my thread. To steal you would be acquiring something which I didn't, I simply duped.

Sometimes. It really depends who my interlocutor is :whistling:

Edit: I see it took a while to come up with the second bit of your post. Ah well, not everyone thinks fast on their feet.

p.s. And Im going away now by my own volition (another word in that big book I swallowed):

Wouldnt worry about it. I agree, the search produces some very odd results (misses heaps and returns things that have nothing to do with the key word).

Ordered 2, apparently they're turning up on Tuesday. Will have to see how good the cases are! I will keep one of the GC games (I already have one copy, and it's an alright game... now I will be able to do multicard play), maybe trade in the other or find someone to give it to for a present! Voted hot and rep given.

I managed to reserve a pack yesterday to collect instore. When i went to collect it today, they tried to charge me £8.97. They said that if I took in a printout of the offer they would let me have it for £3.97. I just came home and clicked on the link from here and it has gone off the website now. The e-mail reservation only gives you the number of your order and not the actual details. Did anybody do a screen print of the offer that they could e-mail me?
I'm really annoyed with Comet as this is the third time I have had trouble with 'click and collect'. :x
#34
If you had printed off the confirmation page you would have had the order details and the price on the sheet you had taken in. Always take in the confirmation and not the email, also you may find the page in your history cache from your webbrowser.

Yep, I should have done that. Found the page in the cache, but because the page is no longer there, it couldn't take me to it.
Anyway, I rang customer services and they are going to fax a copy of my order through to the store and I have to go in tomorrow for a refund.

I haven't heard anything to say my order has been cancelled as of yet, you think I would have given that it's supposed to be getting here today! Was the "web error" the pricing by any chance? I will be disappointed if the order doesn't materialise as I would have gladly paid the £8.97 or whatever the supposed instore price was for the package!
#40
The web error was first wrong price shown on website then changed to no stock within a 2 minute converstaion. I'm not fuseed, would have been a good deal. Never know, maybe some people will get their order :)
