This is the cheapest I've seen it. I'm looking for the 360 version unfortunately though, which is still £34.85.

4% Quidco too.

Apparently same price on 360 now (thanks to saveoneformetoo!), shopto site is down at the moment though.

Edit: 360 version is still £34.85, so changed the title back again!

It's now £32.85 - still the cheapest though.

reviews say this year it really has upped its game, gamespot gives it 8.5 out of 10

Heat added, waiting for it to go under £20 myself (got GT5 to keep me busy for a while!).

GT5 has an Arcade mode, to be honest it has everything...gonna this, waiting for a price drop or promo code for the EASTORE, Gamesradar gave this 10 of out 10, its Burnout Paradise with real cars, with dash of blur...Tooooo Many games at the moment.
#11
I got this and traded it in within 2 days.....so over rated it's scary, I love all the burnout games.... Have over 200 hours of drive time on paradise so thought this was going to be unbelievable....I was gutted. I traded this in for assassins creed brotherhood. It's all down to taste and opinion, but like I say, I love arcade racers but this was way too repetitive. Need for speed most wanted was 10 times better than this and that was out years ago.

he means arcade style physics.

I didn't find the arcade mode in GT5 very arcadey. I gave the game a go, but like Forza, I just don't like driving realistically in games and I find simmy cars games a bit bland and just not as much 'fun' (for me!). It was a great game as a sim though - I just get tired of overshooting corners in these types of games as I'm always going faster than it feels!

I wanted to get this on 360 (as friends have it), but went for Brotherhood as it was £29.99 at Sainsburys (got £30 cash from Cex for GT5) and waiting for this to come down to £30 or less.

Tried the demo on 360 but also tried demos of NFS Shift, PGR4, and another I can't remember :( but I thought Grid was best as far as control and feel of the car.

update: wtf am i saying, not all that actually, the cars have life bar, and once it goes near to the end and you even touch it, it shows its like a magnificent take-down, controls arent that good because cant manage to do a 180 spin easily although probably need more practice. i am basing this on the ipod so dont get confused. having said all that ps3 version maybe different.

Rented this Game from LoveFilm and am loving the game.

Definitely buying it on PS3, just waiting for the price to go under £20 since used one is no use due to EA Online pass.
#17
they so should have just called this what it is-burnout 6
#18
Good deal but will be sub £20 within a month.
#19
EXCELLENT GAME.
#20
OP please change the picture. You put the picture of the Limited edition not the normal one.
#21
Really? OK.

I couldn't copy the image location at shopto, so just used another one. The post doesn't say Ltd Edition, so can't imagine it's that much bother.

I've tried to change it in the post, but it doesn't seem to want to update. Found a photo of the standard edition at Amazon here - http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51gbZIESiZL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Sensible marketing from shopto.

They know that every man and his cat with a ps3 and an interest in racing will have bought or are considering buying gt5. So they know that nfs will need more of an incentive to sell.

Personally, based on the hot pursuit demo, I wouldn't buy it for £15, let alone £30.

Ea should re develop most wanted. That game with higher def graphics and burnout style crash physics would be great.
#23
Personally I think this game is amazing. So addictive...

I managed to get it for £26 from Argos. Bought Fallout from Gamestation for £19.99 then traded it in at Argos for £32. Added £6 and got NFS:HP.

Amazing game. It's like a mashup of Burnout 3 and NFS:MW (without a storyline)
#25
That's a good deal. I might go and do that with NV. Make sure you do 360 version though, only £30 traded in for PS3 version of NV!
#26
I believe the 360 version is also £29.85 now. (I posted one for the 360 link after not seeing this post!)
#27
hmmm may get this!

Nope. From what I can work out the LE is only at Game, Gamestation and Gameplay (all the same company I believe). You only get two extra cars, the other four are in the standard edition but are unlocked from the start in the LE.

not happy as he is awesome.

I am 99.9% sure that it just a part of a storyline and that he hasn't really been fired. lol

Thanks for the info mate. Took my recently purchased Fallout New Vegas (PS3) into Argos and got £30 credit for it so £10 profit as I got it from Gamestation for £19.99. Reserved Need for Speed and will pick it up on Wednesday as I can use my £5 voucher I got last month when spending £50!! (Voucher is active during December!)

I just got my 360 version doing the Argos/Gamestation New Vegas thing. Slight problem at first as the Gamestation and Argos are pretty much opposite each other in Camden, so they refused it as they've obviously had a lot of people do it.

Went to Holloway Rd and they gave me £32 credit for the 360 version, so all in I paid £26.98.

Argos can't complain too much - the game is sealed and they charge more for NV than NFS anyway and the prices of some of the games in there is unbelievable. That people still use that store for buying stuff like Galaxy for £40 baffles me!

deal been extended for another day
#39
It's now up to £32.85, but still seems to be the cheapest I can find without codes or doing the Argos/Gamestation New Vegas trick.
