To be Most Wanted, you'll need to outrun the cops, outdrive your friends, and outsmart your rivals. With a relentless police force gunning to take you down, you'll need to make split second decisions. Use the open world to your advantage to find hiding spots, hit jumps and earn new vehicles to keep you one step ahead.

In true Criterion Games fashion, your friends are at the heart of your experience. In an open world with no menus or lobbies, you'll be able to instantly challenge your friends and prove your driving skill in a variety of seamless multiplayer events. Your rivals will do everything they can to stop you from getting to the top. In this world, there can only be one Most Wanted.

Open world action: Lose the cops - your way. Hit jumps and shortcuts, lay low, or shake the cops in surroundings that play to your car's unique strengths. Freedom is everything. Drive anywhere with your friends, discover hidden gameplay or utilize your knowledge of the city to beat them in a never-ending supply of challenges.

Non-stop multiplayer: Pick a car, hook up with friends and jump into a

non-stop playlist of tight, competitive events. No lobby screens means the action never stops. Score big, rank up and earn endless rewards and upgrades. Keep the fierce rivalries going between events with endless opportunities to race, battle and explore in a huge open world.

Beat your friends: Autolog 2 ratchets up the intense competition with personalized race recommendations and feeds broadcasting all of your most newsworthy scores, speeds and times to your friends. Earn Need for Speed points at all times on any system as you try to outdrive your friends and become the Most Wanted.

Racing without rules: It's survival of the fastest as Need For Speed: Most Wanted fuses the franchise's, authentic "real car" feel with the intense speed and aggression of Burnout. Power down, slide out, and battle your way past cops and rivals using pure driving skill, and heavy doses of nitrous.

Got this when EA gave it away free. It's a good game worth £9.99.

Same. Heat all the same as this is a good price for a great game.

A bit concerned about playing on a vita when my eyes can't keep up on a 44" telly. But it cheaper than an eye test so gets some well deserved heat!

Chase HQ for the Vita, apart from Sonic and Mario this is the best Vita racing game imo.

Agree with the above its not quite as good as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed but this pint sized version is pretty good heated

For once I have to disagree with you. For the Vita this is about as good as it gets for a racing game. I don't think this and Sonic Racing can really be compared.

For me Wipeout 2048 is the best racer on vita.

The game is barebones and reviewed really badly, but my favourite racer is Ridge Racer on the Vita. That drift!

I guess it's just the nostalgia factor of it though. It was amazing on the PSP, and the first game I got when I imported my launch Japanese PSP back in the day.

Its sitting at 79 on metacritic and the Vita community tend to agree that either NFS or Wipeout are the best racing games on Vita.

Agreed. Absolutely loved Wipeout, and I don't generally like racing games (except mario kart).

Will give this a shot.

Ridge Racer on Vita is pretty much a demo, is it not? Explains the low scores.

Not quite as bad as they say but certainly lacking. If you buy the deluxe version digitally you get what I would consider a full game. If you like Ridge Racer though, it ticks the boxes game play wise, it just doesn't have the modes unfortunately.

£9.41 at Amazon but good price if you don't have prime.

Playing this right now; very solid game on the vita, pretty much 1:1 with the console/PC version except no DLC (which is a good thing for this game since the DLC cars would be put into the world but weren't drivable until you paid up which got annoying being pulled to the store every few minutes)

My favourite game on the vita, I have a 98.7% complete rating. Took me weeks to find the last security gate to crash through

I wished they'd release Pursuit Force on the Vita

I have RR. As far as game mechanics it's incredible... but as far as content (including all DLC) it's awful. There are 9 races. Once you beat them (which if you have played RR before you will first time) you're left replaying ghost races on time trial just to level and earn some trophies. Had it had a campaign like RR6 on 360 or RR7 on PS3 it would have been a must own. Such a pity.

Oh bummer. Guess I'll stick to the older ones and the 360 RR is pretty good, lots of drift and a huge variety of cars to choose from.

Cracking Vita racer, plenty to do, looks great, one of the deepest racing games on the vita with plenty of races and challenges etc.
