This item was £14.99 at CDdiscount on the 1st. (i.e. 3 days ago). I ordered it then and it was delivered yesterday morning. Both the printed and the CD manual were only provided in French. I phoned them straight away and asked them for an English manual and they said they would get back to me. Not heard anything as yet. Will chase them again tomorrow.

I wish you'd have posted it when it was that price... I'd have been quite happy to fiddle with a few buttons to save £15!
It was posted, it fell within one of their 24 hour deals on Sunday night if I remember correctly. RRP was £34.99 and their normal price £29.99, 50% off came to that price. Must admit, I was very lucky as I chose that moment to buy a cheapish Mp3 player for a friend as their first trial. Mind you, still chasing a manual in the English language!!! :o)

No idea if you'll have any luck, but have you got a link to a web page for the manual in french? If so I'm told you can convert to Englis with a google tool. Firefox may well have an add on that does the same...

Not a solution, but a start!?!
Thanks for that, I know about the tool and speak some French as well. The problem is that I bought it as a present and it looks a bit stupid with only a manual in French. Have worked everything out and it is not that complicated, but as with all these things, it will most likely have some easy shortcuts and double tap options that I am not aware of (and would like to be!). You have just reminded me, I will phone them again (!!!) as ofcouse nobody got back to me! ;o)
Things are just never simple are they?
Phoned CDDiscount again and they referred me to the website mentioned on the back of the packaging of the Moonji. Having opened it shows a pretty lady and two flags, one English and one French, I opted for the English flag which did absolutely nothing! I then opted for the French flag which took me to the French version of their website, no surprises there. Managed to find the item and the drivers and manuals are there but obviously only in French. I have therefore sent an e-mail to their support team, [email protected], requesting an English version of the manual.
Will update this link when I know more.
Maybe they're in the proces of making the english part of the site?!? Bit daft to put the option for english version up before it's available though. As you say, things are never simple - apart from some web designers! :p

Not many results for english pages at all through a google search, other than sellers. Maybe it's worth looking on AVF or similar sites. There's loads of techy types on there and a good chance someone will be able to fix you up!

Good luck!!!
After I posted the message here I received an e-mail via this forum from Cdiscount telling me that they had been in contact with their buyer and that there was no English manual available but could I please contact them. When I phone them Cdiscount offered to give me £34 in vouchers to use on their website and I can keep the current mp3 player as well. They were intially going to put this into my account yesterday morning and then phoned to say that it would be sometime that day. I keep checking but it has still not arrived. Will keep you updated! ;o)
The vouchers were posted to my account, they totalled £32 instead of the £34 offered but I am not willing to spend anymore time on this. The initial offer was for £20 but I did say that in my opinion that was not enough to acquire a similar replacement. They then offered me the £34. I have now bought the Sansa 12Gb with FM and had to add another £17 (incl. postage).
I find that generally this was dealt with very well and also very impressed that they took the item off their website as soon as I identified the issue to them. Well done Cdiscount! ;o)
