Does anybody have one of these that the laser actually works on??
Bought 3 at xmas for nephews and none of them work, or am I missing something?

Got my son the Recon rifle for Xmas with the red dot. Not the exact same gun but it has the dot.

Not to be patronising, but the best help I can give is:

There is a switch to turn the dot on and off on the side.
The light needs a battery (can't remember if it's included).
There might be one of those white pull-strips you need to take out to enable the battery connection?
It's a rather dull light. Tried it in total darkness to be sure you can see it?
Any troubleshooting tips in the instructions?

Cheers,

put batteries in checked and double checked they were right way, found the switch, instructions were useless, didn't even mention the light other than to put batteries in. Haven't tried total darkness, will give it a whirl, maybe i'm just expecting to much from it, lol. Kids love them anyway :)
thanks for the tips :)

The red light comes on when you pull the trigger slightly. If the kids are just pulling the trigger straight back to fire the darts, the light will only come on for a milli-second. Try pulling it halfway (and don't shoot the dart) while pointing it at the wall and you should see a circular target.

We have one of these and laser lights work fine. Have also given out as presents and far a.s I know they all work too.

I had the same problem at xmas with 2 of them, if you can be bothered you need to take the gun apart and tweak the battery connections, the problem is the metal connectors are not touching the batteries ( i used a bit of foil in the end to ensure the connection stayed tight). Trust me it works!
