Very very overpriced. I had an original nes and it was great at the time. The snes was much better but again good at the time. I got a snes a year ago for nostalgia but found it was not as good as I remembered as things have moved on too much.

Now if these were £15 I could see the interest but not at £50 for me.

Any one else failing to get further than payment details then it resets?
#13
if you added up the retail value off the 30 available games pre installed on E shop to download I think you would find it was very reasonably priced at £50.
#14
Anyone else having a problem with order not going through?

Yeah and Nintendo know it so they make sure supply is low and trickle em out before xmas to create the need in the sheep before there are plenty available lol

If you add up the quality / replay value of the 30 available games, you may not..! Unless you're a sucker for nostalgia of course..

People seem more interested in this than the original NES back in the 80s which was virtually non existent in anybody's homes.
Most of us just played Excite Bike and Duck Hunt in Woolworths and Boots but all went home to our Sinclair's , Commodores and Amstrads .
It seems to me that due to so many gaming websites being American that 20 somethings have been mistakenly duped into thinking this is what we where playing in the 80s , we weren't. Until the SNES released and Megadrive it was all about the 8 bit computers in Europe and the biggest most well known character from gaming was not Mario but Miner Willy , Monty Mole, Dizzy the Egg, Horace and many others. Stick that in your console and press eject

From what I remember, gaming was more watching a title screen with the border going mad and it screeching like a dying cat for 10 minutes while the tape loaded. Only to fail after those 10 minutes so then had to change the volume slightly and try again.

Wasn't it great?

Well worth £50 as someone has said above all the games purchased from eShop cost more than this, yes it will come down over time but £15 brand new will never happen

Ffs - was trying to pay for it and went out of my basket :( could have got double discount on it too!

With ya willy, the NES was far to expensive back in the day spectrum all the way for me!
