Also

SNES platformer Pop'n Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventures (Wii U Virtual Console: Konami, £5.49) makes its return on Wii U VC, bringing back that classic shoot-'em-up platformer goodness that accompanied most of out '90s video games memories.

2048 (3DS: GameOn, £1.19) is a number-matching game that's made its way from mobile platforms to here.

Family Kart 3D (3DS: Arc System Works, £4.49) is a handheld racing game with eight characters, eight karts, 12 courses and three levels of difficulty. That's LOADS of permutations right there.

LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids (3DS: WB Games, £1.19) is the newest addition to the LEGO game pile: this one's based on the recent animated TV show, LEGO Ninjago Rebooted, and tasks you with defending a city from the Nindroids with your LEGO ninja skillz.

Quell Reflect Demo (3DS: CIRCLE Ent., Free) is the free demo of an excellent logic puzzle game - definitely worth trying for free.

The brills tower defense game Swords & Soldiers 3D (3DS) is just £4.49 until August 21st, and we're keen - the sequel comes out soon, so get your grubby mitts on the first one to prepare yourself for Vikings, Demons and meat-throwing strategy fun.

Trine 2 (Wii U) has also been reduced to £5.49 from £13.99, which is a bargain for what it is: a gorgeous, exciting puzzle-platformer that looks as good as it tastes. Actually, it tastes horrible. All spiky and metallic. But it does look very good.

lso Sweet Memories Blackjack (3DS, £2.69) if you fancy a bit of a gamble, quickfire 10-in-1 Arcade Classics (3DS, £0.89) if you want to get all nostalgic, and pretty fishing game Carps and Dragons (3DS, £2.49)

Alright Zelda II. You know I don't like you, but it's been a long time. Maybe it's time we give this another shot.

save the effort - it's still not really worth it.

The disc release has been out in Japan for some time. NoA recently confirmed that US will also get the disc release later this year. Unless I've missed something, a disc release has yet to be confirmed for Europe.

Any discounts for the normal Wii store?

There are currently a selection of different NES games on sale (including Zelda 1) and likewise ones in OP will rotated out on 7th August.

Not too sure about the 30% "better" games 50% the rest policy. Especially as Super Mario Bros 2 already got 50% off earlier this year (and you didn't have own NES remix).

The Wii Shop channel? The only sale that has ever happened in nearly 8 years was a few weeks of 25% off SEGA games.

Very far from being a great value deal.

Even without Nes Remix these games should be going for 99p, and snes £3 max. Their prices for these games we've owned a million times already are crazy

Over priced Nintendo! How they think these games are worth this much is beyond me. Sooner or later all the people who buy this for nostalgia will be dead - who is going to buy these then Shigsy? Drop the prices - nes 49p - snes 99p - N64 £1.25 - GC £1.49 and watch every single game in the e store sell more in a day than they have so far since the estore has opened.

I was going to get Swords and Soldiers 3D, but then just checked reviews and apparently the 3DS version is a bit of a turd.

They've taken out multiplayer and the frame rate is rubbish and also the controls poorly implemented.

I also think these games would sell a lot more if they were like app prices. Was thinking of getting original banjo on the xbox 360 until I saw it was £10. Usually buy new games, play, then sell them and lose £7-8

Pretty expensive considering you can play all these games on the internet for free via web-based emulators.

they are if you already own the cartridges and have a digital emulated version..... but if I say this... it brings out the HUKD lawyers

So all film deals are cold because piracy is cheaper?

Not really comparable to be fair.

Ice climber wasn't good for my sanity or blood pressure! :{
